Dave started his tennis career at the age of six in Wisconsin and played competitively through his junior and adult years. Dave has been a member of the AF-RC for over 25 years. After retiring from a career with PG&E, Dave joined Jordan’s Tennis Staff to support the junior tennis programs. Since then, Dave’s role has expanded, and you can now find him conducting fast-paced adult tennis clinics as well.
Dave emphasizes stroke technique, consistency, strategy, mental toughness and above all, hitting a lot of balls. "I’ve truly enjoyed the partnership with Coaches Jordan and Bryn, we each bring a unique perspective to the game. It’s been fantastic seeing the recent growth of the tennis programs here at AF-RC."
Dave’s easy going personality makes him a favorite with both juniors and adults alike. When he’s not on the courts, Dave is an avid runner and volunteer at the Placer County Animal Shelter.
