Swim With the Sharks

Auburn Racquet & Fitness Club summer recreational Swim Team program focuses on improving competitive stroke technique, physical conditioning, and overall fun. The program is open to swimmers 5 – 18 years of age.

Each season consists of daily practice, stroke technique instruction, 4–5 dual meets with other local area clubs, league championships, and a season ending barbecue bash. Each child will have the opportunity to compete in individual and relay events.

Practices are held Tuesday through Friday at the ARFC's Aquatic Center, featuring its two 6-lane, 25-yard pools. Beginning Monday, June 5th, practices will be held throughout the day. Time trails will be held Saturday, June 10th. The coaching staff groups swimmers according to age and ability. Every effort will be made to accommodate families with multiple swimmers of different ages and levels.

The Season runs from June 5th through August 5th. Register by Tuesday, May 1st and and receive a $10.00 Discount for Registration Fees.

Sharks' Pizza Party

Don't forget to join us Thursday evening, April 19th for the 2018 Sharks Swim Team annual Pizza Kickoff Party. There you'll meet Head Coach/Aquatics Director Emily Daley and Assistant/Lead Coach, Leah Cenatiempo.

Swim Team Swimming Lessons

Swim team swim lessons are designed to bridge the gap between the “learn–to–swim" swimmers and the “swim team“ swimmers. Safety and beginning swimming skills are developed through swimming lessons. Swimmers who are ready for swim team practices or stroke and turn clinic workouts require stronger technique, skills and endurance. Swim team swim lessons will provide the necessary skill sets and coaching to accelerate the swimmer to the next level.
